2012 DOUBLE EXPOSURE EXHIBIT OPENS JANUARY 17
(Tuscaloosa) The Arts Council will present the ninth annual Double Exposure Juried Photography Exhibit, January 17 through February 19, 2012 at the Bama Theatre’s Junior League Gallery. The exhibit will feature works by photographers from throughout the state of Alabama with both adult and junior divisions represented. Official Sponsors include Harrison Galleries and American Shutterbug.
Awards in the Adult Division include a $500 Purchase Award for Best of Show plus four $250 cash awards. Junior Division awards include a Canon digital camera for Best of Show plus four $250 cash awards.
A closing reception and awards presentation will take place on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the Junior League Gallery. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Bama Theatre, 600 Greensboro Ave., in downtown Tuscaloosa. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – noon and 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Enter the gallery through the PARA entrance, located adjacent to the theatre.
