Visual art plays a vital role in the yearly operation of The Arts Council. Competitions and individual exhibits are featured in the Junior League Gallery and Greensboro Room Gallery at the Bama Theatre and in The Arts Council Gallery at the Cultural Arts Center. First Friday takes place on the first Friday of the month from 5-8 pm in downtown Tuscaloosa and is free to the public.
