The Arts Council Gallery located in the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center is one of two galleries managed by The Arts Council. Meeting the demand for additional exhibit space in Tuscaloosa, the gallery hosts a variety of exhibits by artists from around Alabama and the Southeast as well as artists from our own community.

Alabama Power Foundation Grand Hall + Rotary Club of Tuscaloosa Black Box Theatre

The Alabama Power Foundation Grand Hall is the center of the space with high ceilings and an artistic industrial atmosphere. Perfect for gatherings and wedding receptions the open space connects the galleries and black box theatre.

Located in the Bama Theatre, the Junior League Gallery opened in 1983 through fundraising efforts by members of the Junior League of Tuscaloosa. Originally the balcony lobby, the space was converted to a gallery through the installation of appropriate lighting and the alteration of the walls, making them suitable for hanging art work.
