STREAMING OPPORTUNITIES CONTINUE TO BENEFIT THE BAMA

(TUSCALOOSA, Ala.) In an attempt to bring new productions to the film going public and benefit movie houses, Magnolia Pictures is currently providing streaming opportunities of new releases for a small fee. The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa is continuing to work with Magnolia in this program, now offering three movies for viewing in the streaming format and keeping with their goal of bringing unique film to the citizens of West Alabama.

When a patron purchases a $6.99 or $12 ticket for the films on the Bama’s unique webpage, 50% of the net proceeds will go directly to the theatre. The film can be viewed for 3 days using the link provided on the receipt.

The three newly released films are “Slay the Dragon” ($6.99), “Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and the Band” ($12), and “The Whistler” ($12). To access further information, trailers, and links to the films, visit https://bamatheatre.org and follow the link listed on the opening page.

Upcoming opportunities include “The Painter and the Thief,” provided by NEON pictures and available the week of May 22.
