BAMA ART HOUSE SUMMER FILM SERIES BEGINS JUNE 4TH

(Tuscaloosa)  The Bama Art House Summer Film Series will begin on June 4, 2013 and will feature ten films.  A program of The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa, this exciting series represents the organization’s goals to bring new and unique film to the West Alabama area.  Screenings will take place on Tuesday nights at 7:30 p.m. with the box office opening at 6:30 p.m. and doors at 6:45 p.m. 

Discounted complete series subscription tickets are $50 and individual tickets are $7 general, $6 students/seniors and $5 for Arts Council members. Patrons can visit bamatheatre.org/bamaarthouse to purchase tickets and view the list of films and accompanying trailers. Both subscription tickets and individual tickets will be available for purchase at the Bama box office prior to screenings.

The mission of the Bama Art House series is to bring current and contemporary independent film to West Alabama, transforming the historic Bama Theatre into a cinematic art house.
