Join Clarissa Boggess of Painted Lotus Yoga & Wellness for a unique and rejuvenating yoga experience sponsored by The Arts Council. With over 15 years of teaching expertise, Boggess’ classes are characterized by reverence, curiosity, spontaneity and fun. Her unscripted sessions are inspired by the energy of the moment, offering a welcoming atmosphere for all levels.
These classes cater to diverse body shapes and abilities, as she provides options for pose expression. A variety of commonly practiced yoga poses will be explored while incorporating breathing techniques, mindfulness and optional vocal toning for stress reduction and nervous system support.
From beginners to seasoned yogi, the class will foster a sense of community, ensuring everyone feels at ease. Certified with ERYT 500, RCYT, and YACEP, Boggess is registered with Yoga Alliance, and she collaborates with the Tuscaloosa City Schools, businesses and non-profits.
Wear comfortable, easy-to-move clothing and bring your own yoga mat, or use the one included in your ticket cost. Don’t miss this opportunity to embrace wellness with Clarissa and celebrate one decade of the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center!
