Adopt-A-School Partnership with Westwood Elementary
The Adopt-A-School program is a collaborative initiative between the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama and the Tuscaloosa City and Tuscaloosa County School Systems. Established in 1985, the program builds effective partnerships between local schools and the business community.
Our Partnership
The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa is proud to partner with Westwood Elementary School, located in Coker, West Tuscaloosa County. Through this partnership, the Council contributes to the school's high educational standards with initiatives such as:
- Spectrafest
- Westwood Art Month at the Bama Theatre
- Gail Skidmore Memorial Scholarship

Westwood Singers Annual Concert
The Westwood Singers will perform "Night at the Movies," featuring over 60 students from grades 1–4.
