Druid Arts Awards

In founding and perpetuating the Druid Arts Awards, The Arts Council determined that Tuscaloosa County citizens working as volunteers, artists, educators and corporate sponsors was very large and growing. The Council realized that the work of these individuals as well as supportive businesses was not often publicly recognized.

The Druid Arts Awards have become a biennial presentation to honor these special individuals who have achieved distinction in the arts over a number of years in Tuscaloosa County.

Nomination Process

A committee composed of Board of Directors will choose the winners based on established criteria. Individuals who have won in the past are not eligible, but those who have been nominated without winning can be nominated again.

Eligibility: Anyone residing in Tuscaloosa County can submit a nomination for a resident of Tuscaloosa County. (The Home Grown Award can be presented to someone who resides outside of Tuscaloosa County.)

Categories: Volunteers, Educators, Artists, Special Recognition, Corporate Sponsors, and the Home Grown Award.

Nominations are closed at this time. 2027 dates and nominations coming soon.
