UA ALUMNI EXHIBIT AT DINAH WASHINGTON CULTURAL ARTS CENTER CONTINUES THROUGH SEPTEMBER

(TUSCALOOSA, Ala.) An exhibit of works by University of Alabama master of fine arts alumni will continue in The Arts Council and The University of Alabama Galleries at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center through Sept. 28, 2018. The displays will be featured during First Friday on Sept. 7 from 5-8 p.m. with an artist reception held on that evening.

MFA graduates Clayton Colvin, James Davis, Claire Lewis Evans, Amy Feger, Darius Hill, Barbara Kilgore, Meredith Knight, April Livingston, Joe McCreary, Lisa Marie Michitti, Andy Pruett, Aynslee Moon Smithee, Astri Snodgrass, Anna Katherine Vinson, Stephen Watson, Tom Wegrzynowski, Turner Williams and Kelsey Windham will exhibit recent works in a wide variety of media including sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, digital media, and more. The exhibition is coordinated by MFA alumna Anne Herbert and sponsored by the UA College of Arts and Sciences and The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa.

The Arts Council Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-noon and 1 - 4 p.m. on weekdays and noon-8 p.m. on First Fridays. The University of Alabama Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and noon-8 p.m. on First Fridays. Galleries are closed on weekends. Admission is free.
