SPECIAL SCREENING OF “DURANT’S NEVER CLOSES” AT BAMA THEATRE

(Tuscaloosa, Ala.) The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa will host the Alabama premiere of the film “Durant’s Never Closes” at the Bama Theatre on March 30, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. The box office will open at 6:30 p.m. and doors at 6:45 p.m. 

Single Tickets will be priced at $8 general, $7 seniors & students and $6 Arts Council members.

Directed by Travis Mills, “Durant’s Never Closes” is the story of Jack Durant, a Phoenix restaurateur, ladies’ man and mysterious gentleman who maintained many connections to the mafia. From the backwoods of Tennessee to the world of Vegas at the time of Bugsy and finally as the owner of his famous steakhouse, Durant is a legend and dynamic character, at once charming, powerful and dangerous. This film tells his story during one day at his restaurant. The film is based on the works of Mabel Leo and Terry Earp and stars Tom Sizemore as Jack Durant, Michelle Stafford as Suzie, Peter Bogdanovich as George and Jon Gries as Dizzy Dean.

The Bama Theatre is located at 600 Greensboro Avenue in Downtown Tuscaloosa.
